The issue is either you didn’t use the setup utility to assign drives or raid saus there is an issue with the drives physically or electrically in it’s attachment to the raid array. Posted May 24, It sort of has to be it seems like.

I doubt the message no bios installed is correct for diag use.

This is the way to go. All this came up as my CD burner was not visible so I found a bad cable. I found the problem faattrak my case to be the actual windows xp cd that i slipstreamed sp2 on just wouldn’t 387 the driver’s properly so luckily after a mind tormenting hour I tried the original windows xp sp1 i created the sp2 cd out of and everything seemed to go smoothly after that.

I have not delt with what you call slipstreaming. Tonight I did what appeared to be the required steps to install the driver and the icon is gone now but no longer can I get the resource for the controller visible in device manager. Pressing Ctrl-F any way does not get you in either. I have tried re-installing the latest Asus bios using EZflash.

There’s no need to load the Fastrak’s aaus if no drives are detected connected to the controller. Check this thread out they are using the same promise drivers that asus uses and look what the cause was promise driver issue Hope this helps.
I don’t seem to be able to get the driver for the S-ATA ports to load.
